A Celebration of Service ~ Past and Present |
In November 2011 Service League Associates, family members and friends gathered together to celebrate the history and traditions of Service League and honor the ten seniors. The festive evening included the presentation of each senior (focusing on their individual achievements and goals) and also highlighted the contributions of his/her Associate mother or grandmother. The 1st Annual Service League of Green Bay SLGB (Student's Learning to Give Back) Scholarship was given to Caitlyn Linnehan in 2008 in recognition of her outstanding service to the community. Among the applicants for this grant the average amount of time dedicated to volunteerism was over 200 hours. It is a great source of pride for our organization to recognize the many ways our Associates continue to carry out our mission to serve others. |
